Josep Lluis Marcó joined Seeliger y Conde · Kingsley Gate as a Partner in June 2005. He is specialized in the Industrial sector, Health Sciences, Professional Services and in Advising Family Businesses, as well as in the evaluation and design of Boards of Directors.
He started his professional career in the Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sector where he worked for 7 years, among other functions as Financial Director of the Mexican subsidiary of the Werfen Group. Later he was Manager of the Events and Communication Agency of the Media Planning Group.
In 1998 he joined professional management in the Sports Sector as Financial Director of R.C.D. Espanyol de Barcelona (historic club of the Professional Football League), to subsequently become General Director of this company for 4 years. He was Member of the Board Director of the Conservas Dani Group and Financial Advisor of other companies. At the beginning of 2011 he returned again to the R.C.D. Espanyol in Barcelona as a Member of the Board of Directors, until the end of 2012. Also Member of the Board of Directors of Amrop International from 2006 to 2020, responsible for the Financial and Legal areas and Member of the Executive Committee.
Josep Lluís Marcó has a degree in Economics and an MBA from ESADE, General Management Program (PDG) from IESE and is a Certified Coach by ICF. He is also a Certified Corporate Director by Harvard Business School.
He speaks Spanish, Catalan, English and French and is based in the Barcelona office.
